China's rising star, Tao Ye, presents "11," a part of his numbered series, in Bruges. A unique opportunity to witness this dance company in action in Belgium!

Inspired by the symmetry of the number itself, "11" reflects the expression of the individual within a collective context. How do we find balance between the individual's uniqueness and the order of the group? What is singularity? Where does freedom come from? 11 dancers move in a kaleidoscope of colors, embracing the harmony that emerges from their differences.

Due to the recent absence of several dancers and their irreplaceability in the short term, TAO Dance Theater found it necessary to adjust the program. After mutual consultation, we opted for the performance "11." Instead of two short pieces, you will now experience a full-length evening performance with 11 dancers on stage. The performance recently took place at the Venice Biennale and received praise there. Similar to TAO Dance Theater's other works, with "11," you will enjoy a visually enchanting spectacle that further showcases the choreographic talents of China's rising star, Tao Ye.
