Experience the start of 2023 with the perfect soundtrack
As is traditional, the Concertgebouw keeps the holiday festivities going by opening the year with a cocktail of effervescent classics. Conductor Jun Märkl immerses us in Handel's Water Music, twirls us along in the eddies of Smetana’s Moldau and Strauss's Danube and enchants us with the musical spells magic of Dukas. And, of course, Johann Strauss Jnr, the uncrowned king of the Viennese waltz, will be adding the necessary fizz to ensure a sparkling start to 2023. Cheers!
