The cello stars of tomorrow, without the stress of the competition

After the addition of the cello a few years ago, the Queen Elisabeth Competition became a violin-piano-cello-voice competition, organised in four-year cycles. The audience accepted the change and embraced the newcomer. In this edition, it is again the cello’s turn, with popular cello repertoire standing brotherly alongside forgotten gems. Will the candidates opt for grand, virtuoso display or for a more modest, but quirky performance? Come and find out!
