Rotating stage sets off a chain reaction of movement

In Remachine Jefta van Dinther strives for a Gesamtkunstwerk :a total work of art that combines dance, light, sound and scenography into a monumental whole. The relationship between man and machine is central. Throughout the performance, the dancers move and sing on a large rotating disc. They carve their way through time like a disciplined, relentless and insatiable marching choir. A balancing act between leading and being led, between autonomy and dependence.
