Sales conditions

GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS

  • Unless otherwise stated, all invoices are payable in full to Concertgebouw Brugge vzw within 30 days.
  • Invoices not paid on time will automatically and without notice of default accrue interest of 10% from the thirty-first day. In the event of late payment, a fixed compensation of 15% of the total sum invoiced will also be due automatically and without notice of default.
  • Objections must be submitted by registered letter within 15 days of delivery and no later than 8 days after the date of dispatch of the invoice.

SALES AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS TICKETS

Individual tickets and season tickets

These sales conditions apply to ticket sales made via the website www.concertgebouw.be, over the counter (at In&Uit, ’t Zand 34, or in the Concertgebouw Brugge entrance hall, ’t Zand 34), or by phone via the Ticket Line +32 (0) 78 15 20 20.

Before the customer completes the purchase of tickets, he/she formally acknowledges that he/she has read the general conditions of sale mentioned below and that he/she accepts these conditions.

Customers’ personal data

When ordering tickets and season tickets, customers are asked to enter a number of personal details. The processing of this data enables Concertgebouw Brugge to fulfil orders, answer questions or inform customers of any changes to the programme, date, time or hall.

Booking fee and forwarding costs

There is a booking fee of € 1 per ticket. All prices on our website include the booking fee.  
For the forwarding of printed tickets by post, the following rates will be charged:

  • € 2,50 in Belgium
  • € 4,50 outside Belgium

There are no forwarding charges for e-tickets

Right of withdrawal

After payment, there is no right of withdrawal. Concertgebouw Brugge therefore does not accept cancellation after a customer has paid for tickets. Also discounts can no longer be granted or refunded afterwards. 

Exchange

Concertgebouw Brugge does not exchange or refund purchased tickets. Customers may, however, offer purchased tickets for sale on TicketSwap. Concertgebouw Brugge offers no guarantee of effective sales via this website.

Forwarding by post

The purchase, via the website, of printed tickets to be forwarded by post is only possible up to 7 days before the date of the performance.

Expiry of the booking

Every order not paid for within 10 working days will be automatically cancelled.

Change and/or cancellation of the programme

For reasons beyond our control, there may be changes to the programme, line-up, hall or time. Any such changes will be announced on our website. Should a performance be cancelled, or its date or venue be changed, customers will in as far as possible be informed in writing (by email). Changes do not entitle customers to a refund or exchange. Tickets are only refunded if a performance is cancelled.

Lost or forgotten tickets

€ 1 per ticket will be charged at the counter for printing replacement tickets. Tickets can also be scanned from the smartphone.

Waiting lists

If a performance has been sold out, customers can put their name on a waiting list. If seats become available, customers will be contacted. Putting their name on a waiting list does not guarantee customers a ticket.

Groups

Sales conditions
  • Tickets are reserved free of charge.
  • 15% discount on standard rate for groups of 15 or more people.
  • No booking fee per ticket, just a € 6 admin fee per performance.
  • The final number of tickets must be confirmed no later than five weeks before the performance. You will be sent an invoice after confirmation.
  • Invoiced tickets will not be taken back.
Cancellation conditions
  • Cancellation conditions apply from the moment of booking, regardless of the moment of payment.
  • For cancellations of a group booking less than 5 weeks before the performance, a fixed € 15 admin fee will be charged.
  • For cancellations between the 10th and the 6th workday before the performance, 50% of price of the reserved group tickets must be paid.
  • For cancellations after the 5th workday before the performance, the full price of the reserved group tickets must be paid.
Cancellation policy (workshops and guided tours)
  • The cancellation conditions apply from the moment of registration, irrespective of the moment of payment.
  • In the event that you cancel your booking, a fixed cancellation fee of €15 covering the administrative costs will be charged.
  • If you cancel your booking between the 10th and the 6th working day prior to the event, 50% of the full amount will be charged.
  • If you cancel your booking 5 working days or less prior to the event, the full amount will be charged.
Cancellation policy (open rehearsals, first-class concerts and Acoustic Power )
  • The cancellation conditions apply from the moment of registration, irrespective of the moment of payment.
  • In the event that you cancel your booking, a fixed cancellation fee of €15 covering the administrative costs will be charged.
  • If you cancel your booking between the 10th and the 6th working day prior to the event, 50% of the full amount (calculated on the basis of the number of students registered for the activity) will be charged.
  • If you cancel your booking 5 working days or less prior to the event, the full amount (calculated on the basis of the number of students registered for the activity) will be charged.

CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP

These sales conditions govern the entire contractual relationship between Concertgebouw Brugge and the customer. Concertgebouw Brugge reserves the right to change its sales conditions and the content of its sales site at any time without prior notification. Unless otherwise specified, changes take effect from the moment they appear on the website.

APPLICABLE LAW IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts territorially competent for the district in which Concertgebouw Brugge has its Registered Office, namely Bruges.
