Wild weather images drive swirling music

Michael Gordon is one of the founders of adventurous New York collective Bang on a Can. It is therefore no surprise that his music balances between 'classical' and 'popular'. In a collaboration with field recorder Chris Watson and filmmaker Carlos Casas, Manchester Collective blow new life into his composition Weather. Gordon's direct, straightforward music, full of mysterious, spiritual twists, thus becomes an urgent and oppressive report on the climate threat. An unparalleled experience.
