Age-old composition techniques inspire Maker to create a new universe

'Piano, piano' – softly, softly – that is how an Italian might ask you to 'take it easy'. For SLOW(36h), Catalina Vicens uses replicas of early keyboards and the digital manipulation of their sound to construct new music. In this way she evokes the past without using early instruments.
