Kanye West and Beethoven energise expressive dance
After an unforgettable visit last season, Emanuel Gat Dance return to the Concertgebouw for the opening performance of December Dance 24. In Freedom Sonata, choreographer and music connoisseur Emanuel Gat juxtaposes two very different styles of music: a Beethoven sonata and an album by rapper Kanye West. With his intense yet subtle dance language, Gat masterfully guides us through them.
