Legendary pianist performs Shostakovich's Piano Quintet

One way or another, every story is about love. Webern wrote the romantic Langsamer Satz for his fiancée. Dvořák composed his wistfully melancholic 'American' string quartet as a tribute to his adopted country and out of nostalgia for his beloved Bohemia (Czechia). And a strong love of the homeland resounds in Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet.
