A storytelling moment for everyone from 9 to 99
Author Annemarie Peeters is enthralled by famous Belgian composer Karel Goeyvaerts. As a child, Karel was infatuated with the piano in his living room. And, after he had done his homework, he would be glued to the radio until late. The musical seed was thus planted early and the rest is history. Via a few fictional letters – performed by first-class actor Warre Borgmans – Peeters allows the audience to listen to the thoughts, dreams and music of this musical genius. Following the performance, the related book Rijp Fruit will be briefly introduced.
